Waterproof - Helly Tech®

Everybody who works outdoors knows the challenge. You want clothes that protect against the rain, snow and sleet but let you stay dry and comfortable all day. That is why Helly Hansen Workwear developed Helly Tech®, the unique fabric system used in their collection of waterproof, breathable garments. The garments in the Helly Tech® collection release condensation and perspiration, while keeping rain and snow out. Helly Tech® fabrics are constructed either with a thin film that transports moisture or by applying several thin layers of polymers to the reverse side of the fabric. For all practical purposes both systems work well. They are equally efficient at releasing body moisture. At the same time the micro pores in the fabric are too small for water molecules to penetrate from outside. All seams are sealed to ensure that the whole garment is waterproof.
